Fidgetly Privacy Policy
Effective July 2026
Fidgetly is a collection of touch toys. It is built to collect nothing you don’t choose to send.
- No tracking. Fidgetly has no advertising, no crash reporting, no third-party services of any kind, and nothing that tracks you across apps or sites.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
- Offline by design. The app works completely offline. The only things it can send are the feedback form you submit yourself and the anonymous play statistics described below — both go only to our own server.
- Anonymous play statistics. So we can tell which fidgets earn their shelf space, the app sends us tiny anonymous events: which fidget was played and for how many seconds. That is the whole record — no user ID, no device ID, no fingerprint, no location, nothing that identifies you or follows you across apps. Because the events are anonymous, they cannot be linked back to anyone. You can turn this off any time in Settings, and the app stops sending (and discards anything queued) immediately.
- Feedback you choose to send. The app has an optional suggestion box and per-toy feedback form. If you press Send, the text you typed is transmitted to our server and stored so we can improve the app. It contains only what you wrote (plus which toy the form was open on and the app version), is not linked to your identity — no account, no device ID, no fingerprinting — and is never used for tracking, advertising, or anything besides making Fidgetly better. Your note is stored on our server until we have read it. If you never press Send, no note is ever transmitted. To ask for a submitted note to be deleted, email us and quote its text.
- Microphone. One toy (Ferro Pulse) has an optional sound-reactive mode. If you turn it on, audio from the microphone is processed in real time on your device to animate the toy. It is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted anywhere. Turning the mode off (or never turning it on) means the microphone is never accessed.
- Preferences. Your settings — theme, sound on/off, which toys you have loved, and where you are in the toy deck — are stored locally on your device and never leave it.
- Widgets. The Pop-It widget stores its board state in the app's private App Group storage on your device only.
Beyond feedback you explicitly send and the anonymous play statistics above, Fidgetly collects nothing — so there is nothing else to share, sell, delete, or export.
